What To Expect

Worship Services

Sunday Services are held at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church  The service usually consists of traditional and/or contemporary music, singing, readings, a prayer with a short meditation period, and a sermon. After the service, most people stay for coffee and conversation. Please join us so we can meet you.

Orientation

As you arrive, greeters will welcome you and answer your questions. Guests are asked to sign the guest book at the welcome table in the lobby and pick up a Wildflower Church information packet. We also invite you to add your name to the newsletter electronic mailing list. If you provide us with your email address, we will send you email announcements so you can keep up with what is happening. Returning guests and members pick up their name tags. The Children's Religious Education table includes information about the scheduled classes. Children ages 1-5 can be dropped off in the childcare room before the service begins.

Children

Childcare is provided for children ages 1-5 years from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Children 3-13 years of age stay with their parents during the first part of the service, then go to their own activities in their religious education classes. Our older children (14-18 years) meet with two adult advisors on Sunday mornings for fellowship, leadership development, social action and active discussion. Children are always welcome to stay in the service. Likewise, parents are always welcome to attend the classes with their children. Some of the worship services, such as the Easter Sunday Flower Communion and Earth Day services, are intergenerational.

Fellowship Hour

Get to know other members and friends of Wildflower during the Fellowship Hour after each service. Many of the active Wildflower groups and committees display information to inform the community of upcoming events, social action projects and classes.

What to Wear

Wear whatever you feel like wearing. Most people wear "casual professional," ranging from blue jeans to suits. Children should dress comfortably so they can participate in art projects and outdoor activities.
