Religious Education

Religious Education at Wildflower Church is a life-long process.

  • Childcare is offered during the service for children ages 1-5 years of age from 11 am -1 pm.
  • We offer classes for children in Pre-K to Grade 12 during our worship service at 11:30 a.m. on Sundays. The children stay with their parents during the first part of the service, then go to their own activities in their classes.
  • We have a High School program for Grades 9-12.
  • Adult Religious Education courses are taught by our minister, members of the congregation and guest speakers, focus on topics such as Unitarian Universalism, sacred texts, world religions, liberal religious theology, Wildflower's adult programs provide opportunities for people to explore their own spiritual paths in community with other seekers. There are no fees for classes except occasionally for materials and membership is not a requirement.

Other adult programs include Life Enrichment courses and the groups that meet under our Small Group Ministry program. Our Connection Circles and Covenant Groups provide opportunities for small groups of adults to meet on a regular basis to create closer connections and nurture each other's spiritual development.  Affinity Groups develop around special interests of Wildflowers.
